For years, Lucia del Carmen Garcia has poured her strength into her family, her work, and her community. Born and raised in Los Robles, she grew up laboring in agricultural fields while caring for loved ones. As a young mother, she worked tirelessly to provide for her son, Hociel, carrying him on her back as she harvested crops. Through every challenge, Lucia’s resilience never wavered. She gave back at every opportunity, volunteering to build homes for others, hoping that one day, she too would have a safe place to call her own. In 2025, that dream became a reality. After years of sacrifice and hope, Lucia received a home of her own. More than just four walls, this home is a testament to her perseverance, a symbol of the strength she has shown throughout her life, and a space where she can finally find peace.
